Zendesk Creative Blog

Consisting of product and brand designers, writers, and motion specialists, the Zendesk Creative team was the force behind the company’s user friendly products and fun brand. While there I started and ran the Zendesk Creative team’s blog and website to tell behind the scenes look at their process and design thinking. The project consisted of running and editing our Medium publication, running and creating content for an instagram account, and designing plus coding a website that aggregated everything in one place.

Running a publication

As editor I helped identify potential subjects, collaborated closely with writers on ideation and editing, managed a publishing schedule. During my time there we published over 10 articles ranging from office design to parental leave.

Celebrating authors

Writing an article took a big effort and for the author it was often their first time publishing something. As such I wanted to celebrate. I worked with a member of our team who created hand drawn portraits and we also created a dedicated page with question and answer section.

Content included subject matter such as photos from offsites, prop-making, sketches, and video production process.
