Digital designer, writer, builder. Most recently focused on creating simple solutions to complex enterprise problems.
In a past life I fabricated furniture and designed physical spaces.

In addition to launching products, I enjoy contributing to the design culture I belong to. Bringing designers together, getting them to collaborate on problems, and encouraging people to teach and share their knowledge are all things I help people do.

Design & engineering workshops
After noticing bugs written by teammates were difficult to parse quickly, I planned, organized and ran a bug writing workshop, getting input from developers, creating deck, and giving talk. I also wrote an article to share more broadly.

Design jams
Bringing designers and researchers across pillars together from different teams to increase brain power and tackle problems collaboratively. These monthly jam sessions I led resulted in higher quality solutions reached faster.
Outside of regular work I have a few other hobbies
LED programming and jewelry
I taught myself how to program LEDs using Arduino and the FastLED library. I've made wearables from choker necklaces to jelly fish costumes, and also bike lights. It's been fun combining digital skills with more physical outputs.

Fabrication & wood working
Ever since my first welding studio in school, I have found an appreciation for building with my hands. While not my day to day, I find time to build wood furniture and other sculptural objects such as mobiles.
